I know I said I was going to do a review of Link Between Worlds a couple of weeks ago but something came up, long story short super glue is not the best way to fix an analogue stick on a 3DS. Anyway now I've played a bit on hero mode and I have a 3DS XL, since this my first video game review the way I decide to this is first go over the story then the graphics than the audio and lastly the gamelpay. With that out of the way let's begin.
Before I start there one thing that's brother is me is people's attitude over the fact Link Between Worlds is a top down game, it's almost like people forgot that the DS games ever happened. I mean sure they were easy games but they were awesome games and I would recommend them to anyone with a DS or 3DS. Anyway on with the review.
Our game begins with our hero Link having a dream of Ganon which is all of two times the demon lord appears in this game, we than cut to Link oversleeping and being woken up by another character named Gulley. Okay seriously how many times has this happen now where the Link of a Zelda game is oversleeping and is awoken by another character it happen in Ocarina of Time, it happen in The Minish Cap, it happen in Skyward Sword and those are only the ones I can think of at the top my head I mean what would have happen if the first game did this too
Impa- I must hurry or els...oh no Moblins
Link-(at home)Zzzzzzzzz
Impa- Oh how I wish a courageous young boy would come along and help this poor old woman
Link-Zzzzz(snore)zzzzz
Than again maybe that's why Link ran into Impa in the first place he overslept and was in a hurry. Anyway it turns out Link is a blacksmith apprentice and Gulley is the blacksmith's son and the two head off. When they arrive too the blacksmith's workshop(and possibly home but there's no bed than again that's common in video games) the captain pf the guards is getting a new sword and shield but leaves without the sword, okay there's being forgetful and then there's being brain dead he came for a SWORD and shield how did he forget one, this isn't like going to the store buying bread and eggs but forgetting the hot sauce. Anywho after this bit of stupidity Link is task with delivering the sword which leads him to the sanctuary from Link to the Past and for some strange reason even the priest is still called a priest the sanctuary isn't called a church. Soon after arriving shit goes down as someone attacks and Links springs into action. Link than confronts our villain of the game Yuga who is turning people into paintings such as the dumbass captain however he traps the priest daughter Seres into a portrait, Link tries to stop Yuga but he fails and is not out.
Later Link awakens inside his house where it's reavled that a guy in a purple bunny named Ravio brought him here after his encounter with Yuga, the priest did nothing because he was ah..cleaning the incompetent captain off his wall I don't what am I suppose to say the priest was an asshole. After explaining things to Ravio he suggest Link go and talk to Princess Zelda to tell her what happen but before he goes he gives Link a strange bracelet which we're told smells. Link heads to the castle and meets with Zelda who despite being the only one in power is still a princess and not a Queen. I mean what is up with this obsession with making young girls princess when they should be queens the only thing at the top of my head I can think that didn't do this was the Italian comic book W.I.T.C.H though I'm thinking of the tv show where at the end of the first season the character Elyon becomes a queen instead of a princess despite only being a teenager......wow that was a weird reference. Anyway after hearing Link's words she tells him to go see Sahasrahla who is not the character from Link to the Past having the same role and here's a though is he a descendent of the Seven Sages or the Seven Wise Men, oh well I guess that doesn't really matter. Before Link leaves Zelda gives a green pendent which is clearly not the Pendent of Courage and Link heads to meet Sahasrahla at Kakiriko Village where Link learns that Sahasrhla appertince a man named Osfala headed to Eastern Palace to investigate an evil aura, also he's descendent as well. Link arrives to help but Osfala is very big of himself because he has a Sand Rod "No you fool that's for puzzles not fighting" and rushing inside. Link catches up to him only to see him turned into a portrait like Seres by Yuga, Link fights Yuga and wins but Yuga transforms Link into a painting on the wall like the asinine captain, however thanks to Ravio bracelet Link is able to transform himself back and front from 3D animation to painting.
After leaving Eastern Palace Link returns to Hyrule Castle where he learns from Sahasrahla that a strange barrier is blocking and the only to break through is with the Master Sword and the only way he can get is with the Pendents of Courage, Power, and Wisdom. Unfortunate Zelda had the Pendent of Courage "Oh what a shame it's not like the pendent that Zelda gave Link was the Pendent of Courage OH WAIT!" And so Link heads off to the two dungeon where the pendents lie The House of Gales for Wisdom and Tower of Hera for Power. While Link is beginning his quest he runs into three other character Oren the Zora Queen who gives Link Zora Flippers, Rosso a miner who gives Link Power Gloves(no I won't make an obvious reference, beside this is Power Gloves plural not singular) , and a young witch named Irene who will quick travel Link throughout the world. Here's something weird the Power and Wisdom pendents swapped colours as back in Link to the Past Power was blue and Wisdom was red, I guess Nintendo got tried of everyone wondering why it wasn't that way to begin with. Anywho after getting all three pendents Link well see that Gulley, Oren,Rosso, and Irene are missing but no time for that it's off to the Master Sword which is blocked by(DuhDuhDuh) a annoying puzzle...yeah. After that tedium Link aquries the Master Sword and heads off to the castle. Which follows is one of if not the best dungeon in the game where you must fight through soldiers to reach the top, but to fair I love levels like this games where your only obstacle are human or human like soldiers for example in Wind Waker when you first get the Master Sword and you have to fight a large number of Moblins and Darknuts. After all that good stuff Link will run into Yuga where he turns Zelda into a portrait as well as Impa off screen, Link confronts Yuga and defeats him again but he retreats and Link chases after him through a crack in the wall.
After traveling through the crack Link arrives in a strange castle which for some reason is a mirror image from Hyrule castle despite the rest of the world not being mirrored. Anywho Link runs into Yuga right when he uses the his captive portraits who are in fact the descendents of the Seven Sages to summon Ganon and then fuses with him. Link is easily overpowered by Yuga but is saved by the Hilda the princess of this world called Lorule, and again just like Zelda Hilda is the only one in power but she is not a Queen, if they said the King and or Queen just died and there was no official ceremony yet I would accept that not for Zelda though. Hilda holds back Yuga long enough for her to teleport Link out of the castle and tells him the only way to stop Yuga is to gather each of the Sages from dungeons in Lorue(not sure how Yuga decided which dungeons to send each dungeon in like the span of a few second but whatever)so that they can created the Triforce of Courage. So Link travels through Lorule to each of the dungeons to save the Sages; Gully in The Dark Palace, Impa in Turtle Rock, Osfala in Thieves Hideout,Rosso in Ice Ruins,Irene in Dessert Palace(which is in Hyrule), Seres in Skull Woods, and Oren in Swamp Palace, when the seven are gather they create the Triforce of Courage and now it's off to face off against Yuga for the third and final time.
Before I finish the story I gonna to give a spoiler warning for anyone that wants to be surprise by the story so here goes SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER!!!!!!!! With that outta the way lets continue, Link fights his way through Lorule Castle and confronts Yuga where it's reavled that Yuga was working for Hilda along so that she could get her hands on the Triforce. The reason for this is because like Hyrule Lorule had a war over their Trifore but unlike Hyrule they destroyed their Triforce, yes because why solve things diplomatically just blows things up. But that turn out to be the wrong decision and Lorule is dying, so Hilda sent Yuga to get the sages to summon Ganon to get the Triforce of Power, capture Zelda to get the Triforce of Wisdom because apparently god like powers can be past down, and have Link aquried the Trifroce of Courage from the sages because she couldn't do that herself when Yuga had all seven of them together. Things go bad for Hilda when Yuga turns on her, whether this is because of Yuga own ideals or because of Ganon's power is unclear but whatever. With help from Zelda Link seals Ganon away again and kills(I guess) Yuga but Hilda is not ready to give up but she is stop by Ravio who is reavled to from Loure who sought out Link to stop Hilda and Yuga so that Hyrule wouldn't suffer like Loure did. Hilda sides with Ravio and helps Link and Zelda return back to Hyrule where the two wish upon the Triforce so that Lorule's Triforce will be restored thus giving our game a happy ending. SPOILERSPOILERSPOILEROVER!!!!!
Now let's get to the graphics which I feel a little indifferent about. For the most part I really like the graphics which are very good someone of the best on the 3DS plus they are very bright and colourful, I have no opinion on the 3D because I`m cross eyed and can`t focus very good on 3D visual. My biggest problem with the graphics is the design because it doesn`t come off as very unique, almost everything thing in the game is taken straight from Link to the Past. Now there`s nothing wrong with a game series using various aspects from past games but I feel Link Between Worlds goes overboard, almost every enemy, boss, dungeon or even plot points are taken straight from Link to the Past. Because of this I feel like this game should have marketed as a remake or remix which really wouldn`t be that bad but it does take away the hope that we`ll get a 3D remake of Majora`s Mask because we`re suppose to wait for an original Zelda game on the 3DS first. Now before I finish with the graphics is Lorule, why you ask simple because it`s PURPLE.!!!PURPLE!!PURPLE!!PURPLE!! Encase it`s not obvious purple is my favorite colour though to be fair Lorule looks just like the Dark World. But despite this the graphics are very good but I felt they we`re disappointing.
I don`t much to say about audio other than it being good but if I must say even though I like the music from the Zelda series it really isn`t one of my favorite when compare to other game series. So let`s move on.
Now for the most important part of any video game the gameplay. Now as I said above Link Between Worlds is a top game s which for the most part is primary on the handheld devices. Now I really shouldn`t really explain the a game Zelda series but here goes, you travel around the world enter dungeons collect a special in a dungeon collect the boss key to face off against the boss rinse and repeat till you get up to the final boss. Now the biggest change in this game compare to the rest of the series is that you get almost complete freedom right the beginning this due mostly to Ravio who rents you the items you`ll need in the world and dungeons, though you`ll still need items like the Power Gloves. Now of course there is a catch to the items which is if you die you lose them and have to rent them all over again, but you can cheat because this game doesn`t have a save anywhere feature like the other games instead it uses a save location like Skyward Sword, so if die you can quit and reload your file which if you're like me you`ll do that alot in Hero Mode. Another minor problem I have is the length of the dungeon which I found to be too short, every dungeon took me anywhere between 30 to 45 mins to complete,it`s not that their that easy their just short and I don`t remember the dungeons in Link to the Past being short though that was a console game and this is a handheld game so make your own conclusion with that.
Even with my small complaints there really isn't anything wrong with this game it's another great Zelda game but I wanted more from like the console games not a remake of the a past game I mean we already got that from the first Zelda game on the 3DS. I still strongly recommend this to anyone with a 3DS though there other games that came out this year that I think are more worth your time like Fire Emblem Awakening or Pokemon X/Y. If i had to score this I give it an 8/10, anywho this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.
I just review what I want good or bad, old or new, if I feel strongly positive or negative about something I'll review it or discuss it.

Top 5 Favorite Zelda Games
Well it's the end of the month and now it's time for my favorite Zelda games, I did want to do this early this week but things came up so yeah. Also I plan to do a review on Link between worlds but I want to play a little on Hero Mode first so I may do that next week. And before we begin I like to say that Ocarina of Time well not be on this list, while I do see it as one the best games every made it's just not one of favorite. With that out of the way let's begin.
5.A Link to the Past(GBA)
So speaking of Link Between Worlds we go back to it's predecessor Link to the Past which is arguably one of the best SNES games ever made. Now you maybe wondering why I'm going with the GBA version instead of the SNES version, simple I never beat that version because of my stupidity. What I remember most this game(on the SNES anyway) was just hoe big it was I first played this when I was about 6 or 7 so I hadn't really saw a game world this huge, unless of course you count a game with lots of levels like DKC2 but I'm not. I spent hours just exploring the world trying to figure out what to do in certain areas, and if you read my dumbest moments than you'll know I never got past Death Mountain so my experience with the SNES version is pretty lacking. I never truly played this game until I got it on the GBA when I actually gain some brain cells so I never got stuck on obvious spots. Anyway part of the reason this isn't higher on the list is because of the boss as two of the boss are just bigger version of regular enemies(one is fine but two) and two bosses are just eye balls yes because that is a true sign of creativity. But that is really a minor problem but I think later games in the series and other 3D games have spoiled me, for example I could be wrong but I believe all the bosses and sub-bosses in the handheld games are not based on regular enemies. Another small problem I have is the fact you can explore the world before the first dungeon this brothers me because you want to do stuff before the first dungeon but you're unable to in the other games I like the world opening up after your first big accomplishment. Now that minor problem can be fix by just letting you do a lot of stuff right from the get go like the original game Other than that there really isn't anything I would consiered bad about this game and would recommend it for everyone.
4. Skyward Sword(Wii)
When the Wii first came out one of the things people wanted was a game that offered sword fighting and we really got a game like that, or at least not one that had a conformable experience anyway. But than a mere five years later Nintendo released Skyward which gave us what we wanted...or did it. I have two big problems as well as a couple of small ones with Skyward Sword that stopped it from being at number three. The first was my own experience with the controls as there were several times where I couldn't get an item to work the way I wanted, the worst time was in the third part in the final fight with Ghirahim where no matter what I did I couldn't thrust. I was so pissed off I actually beat my Wiimote on my TV remote and broke the latter. Now normally this wouldn't have piss me off so much if not for the fact that my friend play through this game "LYING DOWN"....doesn't that completely defeat the purpose of the Wii. Anywho my other big problem with Skyward was the pacing I really felt that the first 5 to 10 hours was kinda boring, I would have like more of Skyloft to explore at first(maybe let it have it's own dungeon and what do you first do in Faron woods play hide and seek...yes I know there's more to it than that shut up. Another small problems I have are the area I would have a like for them to be contented by land and would have like for the sky area to be a little bigger. One last thing I think there should have been an option to switch over to a classic controller for people like myself who had problems with the remote. Other than that I don't really have any other problems the characters and story are great as well as the graphics and audio another great experience.
3.The Wind Waker(Game Cube)
Okay to start off part of the reason I love this game so much is the BOAT!!! Yes I just loved sailing around this world on the King of Red Loins, sailing around, using the cannon, finding treasure, and exploring the island was such fun when I first played this game. When the Wind Waker first came out there was some controversial about the graphics but I really like them I feel it gives the game alot of character that the previous games didn't. My biggest complaint with the Wind Waker is the difficulty I never really found it got hard till a little over half way and no that's not counting the nonsense with the tri-force. Yeah I don't have to say about this one other than it's great and I don't feel it deserve any of the hate it got.
2. Twilight Princess(Game Cube/Wii)
One thing I've heard some people say in the last few years is that we need a dark gritty mature Zelda game, any one who says that is an idiot. Why simple we already got a mature Zelda right here at number two. A little seg way I hate it when people think mature means blood and guts and swearing and nudity, no it does I pretty sure something No More Heroes isn't mature just because of it's blood and guts. Anyway back to Twilight Princess which is probably the closest we will get to a dark and mature Zelda, just by the graphics you can till isn't going to be a pleasant journey for our hero. The story takes it's self very serious or at least as serious you can get with a shapshiftting pretty boy and an imp trying to save the world depression. Now I first played this on the Game Cube but later finished it on the Wii and I can say I feel it was better on the Game Cube but funny enough I didn't get as frustrated as I did with Skyward Sword. Now we get to it's biggest flaw how linear it is. This is what stopped it from being my favorite Twilight Princess is downright ridiculous in how linear it is you can't really explore until you get the Master Sword and you can't chose to go to one temple over the other at any point, what a load. But despite that huge problem I still fell that Twilight Princess is one the top three games in the series and should be played all.
1.Majora's Mask(N64)
Yeah I bet alot people didn't see this coming but yeah this right here is my favorite Zelda game that I never get tried of. But why you may ask simple really, one reason would have to be the sense of dread which at the time I never really in fact I still do see this game offering alot of dread. Whether it's the dead fill Ikana Canyon, the absolute cold from Snow Head or just simple the impending doom of that freaky moon. The visual and music are sure to creep anyone out. Another thing I love is the content, you think with a smaller world(at I think it's smaller) than most 3D Zelda games there wouldn't be much to do but this game delivers. The most prominent side quest are all the mask to collect and what to do with each mask which well should anyone unfamiliar stump for hours. Also like Twilight Princess this is the closest we will get to a dark mature Zelda game because Majora's Mask is very dark and twisted. A few of these come just from the masks themselves such as the Zora Mikau trying to bring back the voice of another Zora named Lulu only to fail and die with his comfort coming from a song. And of course lets not forget the nightmare fuel like the begening whe Link becomes Deku Link for the first time.My only real problem is that's Nintendo cut coroners with this game such as using alot of Ocarina of Time's graphics so because of this the game feels a little like an expansion pact at times. But this despite that I can't bring myself to dislike this game and can't wait for Nintendo to a remake of some kind, don't pretend it's not going happen it will.
So there you have it the the favorite Zelda games of some random guy on the internet that could be wasting his time with something a little more constructive but where would be the fun in that. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.
5.A Link to the Past(GBA)
4. Skyward Sword(Wii)
When the Wii first came out one of the things people wanted was a game that offered sword fighting and we really got a game like that, or at least not one that had a conformable experience anyway. Top 5 Favorite Zelda Villains
Wow I didn't want to wait this long for the next post but I don't think I gotten right into doing these blogs yet, that or I'm too obsess with watching all the YuGiOh series. Anyway like last time I don't have anything clever to say so lets begin.
5. King Bublin(Twilight Princess)
To be fair the reason I including this guy is because I like the idea of a recurring minor villain whom the main character fights against several times. The reason I like that is because it shows our main character being badass or simply just to show off how they think in fights, for example in YuGiOh 5ds the duels between Yusei and Ushio, however these can backfire and do really stupid stuff like have our main character take out like 3 powerful guys in one hit each, that's not cool that's lazy. As for Bublin I do also like his boss fights(can the second even be considered a boss fight) especially the first because it was something that people really wanted which was a battle on horse back or at least done right that is. So yeah nothing special but it is something I like in minor villains so yeah.
4. Ganon
(This pic is awesome I just had to use it)
Okay at first I wasn't going to include the warthog king because well as far as characters go I think Ganon is really weak. Okay not weak just really boring. However I than use my brain and realize "Yeah he might be boring but his boss fights aren't". Which is true for alot of villains you might think their boring or lame or pathetic but if there's a cool fight involve most people will overlook that. As for my favorite fight with Ganon I probably go with the three fights with him in Twilight Princess which was pretty epic, though if we could count Demise as a Ganon boss fight(which is stretching way too far) from Skyward Sword I would chose that over the sword fight in Twilight Princess.
3.Majora's Mask(Majora's Mask)
I'm not sure if this should count as the villain of the game or if it should be Skull Kid because he's the one that did everything but screw it. Not much to say for the evil mask mostly because the reason I like it so much is because of all the twisted stuff it does to the people of Termina. I mean really this all powerful mask gets so much joy(I guess) by just screwing with everyone, from making a swamp poisonous to turning a soon to married man into a kid to creating a harder than you think fish, seriously you wouldn't think Gyorg would be that hard he's a FISH!!! Anywho the only way I could do Majora's Mask any justice would be to list everything it does and comment on them but that would be stupid for a top (add number) list.
2. Ghirahim (Skyward Sword)
Oh Ghirahim you lovable psycho how could anyone not love him. It's because of villains like Ghirahim why we love villains so much, sometimes we don't complex characters as our villains we sometimes just want a crazy evil person who knows their evil and crazy and takes huge pleasure in this, and of course Ghirahim is one of those villains. Right from the line "I just beat you to an inch of your life" I've love the guy and I hope Nintendo brings him in some way, I'm 95% sure he will be in the next Smash Bros. game. Also aside from the his personalty the boss fights with him were also great and made me love Skyward Sword because the couple of hours I was kinda off and on about the game but after the first boss fight I realize just how much fun the game could be, than again I love one on one fights. So yeah Ghirahim he's another crazy villain that makes us happy.
1. Zant(Twilight Princess)
I'll admit it's hard to say why Zant is my favorite but I just love the guy. Maybe's it for his design which I fells has a very simple look but yet is also very menacing in it's way. Maybe's it because he actually has a reason to hate one of our main characters has he was devastated at Midna becoming the next ruler instead of him, which gives him a more personal reason to hate our heroes as opposes to just seeking power or domination. Maybe it's because he takes on the powers of the other bosses which I really did like because it does show how powerful he is in creating these monster and using their powers at will which is really something you don't see with other main villains. Whatever the reasons Zant is my favorite and I'm pissed off he wasn't the main villain of Twilight Princess I mean why did Ganon have to be the main villain, they could have just used Ganon as a means to end. But oh well I can't change this stuff I just keep building that rage inside me.
Their you have my favorite villains in the Zelda and I'm sure there's some odd choices but oh well I gave my reason so yeah. Anyway Link Between Worlds is out tomorrow and I can hardly wait, why couldn't there be no work tomorrow instead of today, really what lousy luck. Anywho this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

Top Five Favorite Zelda Sidekicks
Okay I really didn't want to wait this long for my next post but oh well it happened nothing I can do about it now. Seeing as I have nothing clever to say lets begin.
5. Ghost Zelda(Spirit Tracks)-First off I like to say I really like the DS Zelda games and I bring this up because a couple of years ago I saw on a several sites people saying these games sucked and other than them being a little easy I really can't see why anyone would say they sucked. Anyway part of the reason I really like Ghost Zelda is because she's a more active heroine than we're used to seeing in the Zelda games as she actually travels with Link and helps with the puzzle in the Tower of Spirits, while most just stand around or do nothing to really help Link. Another reason is because of some of the humor they have about it in the beginning like Ghost Zelda flipping out over the idea of traveling with Link, I do wish they a little more of this but oh well.
4. Ciela(Phantom Hourglass)- Okay to be honest the reason I like Ciela is because we finally have a fairy that's useful. Because first we had Navi who was a little useful and really annoying and than we had Tatl who wasn't really annoying but she didn't know anything. However in Phantom Hourglass we finally had fairies that we're of paratical use, though to be fair you'll probably find more use out of Leaf seeing as how he'll power up your sword.
3. Ezlo(The Minish Cap)- To be fair I'm not really sure what I like so much about Ezlo but I think it's just because of the ability to shrink down which was something I really liked about The Minish Cap. So because I don't have much to say Ezlo I'll take this as an opportunity to question what's Elzo purpose in the Zelda series now, I mean first it was to say where Link's cap came from but the Link in Skyward sword has a cap. I mean what happen did Link's cap get set on fire so no one remembered that the first hero wore a cap.
2. Linebeck(Phantom Hourglass)- Oh Linebeck you were such a surprise for me I really didn't think I would like you so much but well here he is a number 2. First off I just love the contrast between Link and Linebeck, we have a hero trying to save his friend than the world teamed up with a treasure hunter who could care little for what's going on. Linebeck is also just hilarious, the first meeting between the two is a good example with Linebeck just strangling Link for no good reason and than going on why Link struggles to stand. Thankfully Linebeck isn't just there for comedy as he does have some character development as shown at the end when he chooses to have his ship instead of alot of treasure.
1.Midna(Twilight Princess)- Yes the loveable adorable little imp, I mean even if she isn't one of your favorite Zelda characters how could anyone not like Midna. Anywho like Linebeck Midna is just a very likable character with her attitude towards Link to her very twisted behavior at times. And of course unlike other female sidekicks she was very helpful to Link's adventure even if she did treat him as a slave but of course that was part of her charm, and like Linbeck it was nice that wasn't just a one note character which of course could have easily happen though I'm pretty sure Nintendo stop doing that in the 2000's.
There we have it my favorite sidekicks in the Zelda series, yeah a little brief but I'm very good at putting things to words,"well why did you do a blog in the first place dumbass" is what I'm sure some people are thinking, simple I don't know anything about making videos and vlogs would just involve me studdering alot. Anywho next time I'll do my favorite villains in the Zelda series and hopefully it will be before a week because I like to do a list of my favorite games before Link Between Worlds comes out. Until than this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

Personal Dumbest Moments in the Zelda Series
Well it's been a while since I did a post, anyway since there's a new Zelda game coming out this month I though I do a few post about my favorite series and what better way than to have people laugh at me...wait. This is my dumbest moments in Zelda and when I say dumb I mean downright stupid.
Okay I've really only a have few really stupid moments happen but lets go all the way to my first experience with Zelda with a Link to the Past. When I was playing through Link to the Past back on the snes I never got up to Death Mountain, why yo may ask because I was too brain dead to know that when you change in the rabbit just go north a few feet change back to normal and jump down the ledge. So I spent hours(2 I think) trying to figure out where you had to go as bunny Link. It wasn't till years later that I beat Link to the Past on the GBA and even than I had to use a walkthrough.
This next one is not just the dumbest Zelda moment but the dumbest thing that will make you question if I've actually ever played a game before. When I was first playing Ocarina of Time I never got past the first dungeon, how is this possible you may ask. Is it because I couldn't figure out the spider web part nope, is it because I couldn't beat the boss no, it's because I couldn't get past the Deku Scrub because I didn't know how to use the shield. Yes you did indeed read that right I was too stupid to press the R button, let me repeat I WAS TOO STUPID TO PRESS THE R BUTTON. I think this pretty much speaks for it's self.
My last one is actually something that just happen last year. I was playing the Minish Cap on my 3DS when I got to the part where you have to find the Elemental Sanctuary I spent roughly two hours trying to find it because I was too stupid to see the archway inside the castle which I must've past like 8 times. Now I realize why I wear glasses because I'm so blind I can't see a simple door.
Well next time I do a post about my favorite sidekicks(traveling companions? whatever) in the series. On till than this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

Night of Horrors done...maybe
I know I said I was going to a review and summary for a horror movie everyday but I lost the desire to watch any more movies at the moment. Maybe I do a few at the end of the month but right I just don't feel like watching a movie. If I do this next year some movies I want to do(I can't do them now because I can't find them at the moment) which are: Carnosaur 2(aka Aliens with dinosaurs),The Car,Orca,Bug,and Kingdom of the Spiders.Anywho this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

15th Night of Horrors Evil Dead 2
I have a confession to make I'm not a big movie fan so I haven't actually seen alot of classic or even new movies, this is one of them. For those who don't know Evil Dead 2 is the squeal to The Evil Dead which pretends that movie never existed. Because of reasons I said yesterday I won't do much of a summary, anywho let's begin.
Evil Dead 2 starts the same The Evil Dead started with our main character Ash heading to a cabin in the middle of the woods except only his girlfriend Linda is with him, the next three minutes sums up the first film with Linda turning into a Deadite and he kills her. For roughly half the film we follow Ash going mad from the evil presence in the woods, Linda coming back to attack, and him cutting off his with a chainsaw after it becomes possessed. After all this we're introduced to our idiots of the film(oh don't pendent they matter)and one by one the idiots are killed. Idiot one is killed by Ash when he's(idiot one) turned into a Deadtie, idiot two is killed by trees, making us think the tree rape scene is going to be redone, idiot three is eaten by a Deadite in the cellar, and idiot four is killed by Ash's evil hand when she tries to send the evil presence through a portal which Ash is pulled into as well sending him to the 13th Century which sets up the squeal Army of Darkness. Oh yeah and Ash gives himself a chainsaw arm, a sawed off shotgun, and says groovy but everyone knows that.
The thing I hate most about this movie is the fact the original is completely ignored and I assume taken out of cannon, I really like The Evil Dead I thought it was a great horror movie. Why couldn't they just continue from where the last movie without having to remake the first movie in three minutes, which I see as an insult. Other than that this movie is still great and a must have watch, it's just that you can do a horror comedy without having to ignored the first movie. Look at Return of the Living Dead it's a horror comedy it doesn't ignored Night of the Living Dead and it's awesome, in fact Return is actually one of favorite movies. Anyway this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

14th Night of Horrors The Relic(brief)
Okay my review and summary will be very brief tonight because my sister and her fiance are visiting for a couple of days and they like too go on Netflix and I only have a laptop and they have no laptop so it should be obvious why I can't do a detail summary. Instead I'll try and make this as quick as I can. Let's begin
The Relic begins with an anthropologist discovering a tribe in South America who give him some strange soup who eats it like an idiot than goes crazy for something he is sending to a museum in Chicago but doesn't find it on the ship that's transporting his goods because it was left behind and is send by plane later on. The ship that the idiot was on is found six weeks later with everyone dead and one of the detectives think it's was a drug hit because he's too lazy and we're introduced to one of our main characters Vincent whose a homicide detective and very superstitious which is about as subtle as a hammer to the face. Also when the crates left behind arrive at the museum we're introduced to our other main character Margo and our asshole Greg, we also learned that the crates contain leafs covered in fungus. A security is later killed by our monster of the film while he's smoking some weed, proving that weed does kill "Smoke weed and you'll get your head rip off by a monster ". The movie than rips off Jaws for a bit as the museum is having a big event during all this and they have to find the "killer" before that, the police find and kill a crazy hobo and think he did but shock of shocks he's not and the real monster attacks the event creating panic in the museum which come off as very good disaster movie-esqe scene and turning off the power via a shutdown trapping our potential victims inside. For the rest of the movie we follow the characters trying to get out of the museum as well as our main trying to stop the monster as it kills several people including the asshole(NOOOOO!!!!!) until our main characters kill the monster by blowing it up, we also learn the monster was the idiot all along(ZOMG!!!) who was mutated by the fungus. And they all live happily ever after, well except for all the people who die because of idiot eating the strange soup, dick.
The biggest problem I do have with this film is the characters, their either bland, boring, or cliche. The pacing is also a little off in some areas but not as bad as other movies I've seen,Squirm anyone? However The Relic is based off of a novel so maybe those flaws are better. What this movie does do well is the creepy atmosphere and some good scares, the monster itself is also well design and although the CGI stuff is pretty bad the non-CGI bits are very well done. I actually do recommend this movie it's a good creepy film with a interesting monster and good mood. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

13th Night of Horrors The Omen
Tonight I'll look at another classic horror film The Omen about the birth of the antichrist. Now before I begin there's a minor thing I want address and that is about James Rolfe's Monster Madness, why has he never talked about this film, he talked about Leprechaun, LEPRECHAUN FOR CHRIST SAKE!!!*rants for about five minutes* I was here to talk about a movie wasn't I? Anyway if I was to rant about stupid things that internet reviewers do I be here for days. Let's begin.
Our movie begins with something I've neglected to talk about with these horror film and that's their theme. For example Carnosaur was stupid but it had such a great creepy theme as well Child's Play and The Omen has one the greatest theme in any movie(not just horror) and deserves to in any top ten list for greatest movie themes. Anywho, the film actually starts with our main character Robert Thorn whose a diplomat that quickly becomes an ambassador between the U.S. and Great Britain arriving at a hospital in Rome for the birth of his son only to discovered that he died within seconds of life. To save his wife the pain of losing their first child Robert agrees to adopt a child whose mother died during childbirth form the hospital's chapel and names the child Damien. A few years go by and the Thorn family are living in Great Britain living a perfect little life but strange things events start to happen starting Damien's nanny hanging herself at his birthday after she sees an ominous dog. Things continue to strange as an odd nanny comes to replace the dead bringing the ominous dog and when the Thorns try to go to the funeral of the old nanny Damien begins screaming uncontrollably.
While this is going on Robert is visited(or harassed)by a priest who tries to warn Robert about Damien. But of course like all people in movies who have knowledge on anything he doesn't clearly tell him because he knows his life is a movie and telling would ruin suspense for the viewer. However he does tell us that Robert's wife Katherine is pregnant and that the unborn child will be killed by Damien which it is in a very iconic scene, the priest himself is also killed during a thunderstorm when a lightningbolt cause a lightning rode on top of a church to impale him.
After beginning to suspect that something sinister is going on Robert is contacted by photographer Keith who shows that he has the camera form "Say Cheese and Die" because his pictures foreshadow the deaths of the nanny and priest, as well as his own, Keith also investigated into the life of the priest learning there maybe more to Damien than what Robert knows and the two head Rome to learn more. They head the hospital where Damien was born and adopted but the place has burned down along with all of it's files, however they are able to track down the priest who made the adoption in a remote monastery that leads the two to the cemetery where Damien mother is buried. At the cemetery they discover two graves on containing a jackal(Damien's mother) and the other containing Robert child which shows he was murder at birth which leads to two realizing that Damien is most likely the Antichrist, the two are than attack by a group of dogs in league with the ominous dog and the two barely escape. After this Robert tries to warn his wife about what is going on and get her out of the country but she is killed by the new nanny(whose a Satanist) by being thrown out of a window.
Robert and Keith head to Israel where they meet an archeologist named Bugenhagen who tells Robert, not Keith because he read the script and knows Keith will die in the next minutes how to kill Damien by using seven mystical daggers. After doubting all Robert refuses to do the deed by after Keith is killed in a freak accident he backs home where he discovers that Damien does in fact have a birth mark of 666 raveling he is the Antichrist. While trying to take Damien to a church to kill him Robert gets into a struggle with the nanny(named Baylock) and kills her which for some reason upsets the ominous dog. Robert heads to a church but chased by the police because of his road rage and is killed(despite the fact British police don't carry guns) before he killed Damien. And the movie ends with Robert and Katherine funeral and Damien smiling at the the camera making us think he knows hès the Antichrist but as the squeal proves that not the case.
So yeah that's The Omen a classic horror movie with a great plot, great acting, fantastic mood and atmosphere, and it's also nice how realist the movie is as well because it helps built suspense. I would argue this is an almost perfect horror film and should be view by all. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

12th Night of Horrors ah nothing
I won't be doing a summary and review on a horror movie tonight. Why you may ask simple really, I was working late today, I had to grocery shopping, pick up my copy of Pokemon X and I just got home. So yeah I'll be playing X till I go to sleep. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.
11th Night of Horrors The Fly(remake)
Tonight we'll look at the 1986 remake of the classic 1958 film which I've never actually seen, though I did see the classic ending. Antway lets begin.
Our movie begins with our main character Seth Brundle trying to pick up women with science talk, because it's just that easy. However he sparks the interest of a journalist named Veronica who shows his teleportation pods that can transport inanimate objects but fails at living. The next day we're introduced to Veronica's editor Stathis who also happens to be her ex lover(which really won't go anywhere)who is none to impressed with the teleporters believing it to be smoke and mirrors(which again won't really amount to much). After some padding Veronica starts filming Seth and his work to perfect the pods but goes nowhere as his experiments turn a baboon inside out. Seth and Veronica start to have a sporadic romance that leads to Seth discovering the problem was computer not being able flesh, yes blame somebody else sure is the internet approach.
Later the try teleporting another baboon which works best kind but Veronica leaves because she learns Stathis is going to run a story on the teleporters, really the only thing this amount is having Veronica leave Seth alone. While drunk Seth teleports himself but there's a fly inside the pod with "DUN DUN DUNNN" which I feel creates a huge inconsistency because the fly in the pod makes a huge and I mean HUGE buzzing sound before Seth tries teleporting you think he would've heard it echo when it flew around like two times. The next day Seth enhance strength and reflexes and believes it to be the work of the pod and tries to get Veronica to teleport herself, but after she refuses to and Seth goes to find a cheap whore which doesn't work out and after being left alone he soon starts to realizes he and the fly we're bounded together the whole time. Also the screens goes to black for some reason when it skips ahead four weeks.
After the four weeks Veronica goes to see Seth after he contacts her and learns that he's started to mutated into a fly like creature and is also losing his sanity has he starts calling himself Brundlefly. Veronica later learns that's she pregnant and after having a nightmare where she gives birth to a giant maggot(charming) she tries to get an abortion but Seth kidnaps her after learning. Stathis arrives at Seth's lab to save Veronica with shotgun in hand because that's the answer Murder!! Unfortunately for Stathis Seth attacks him and uses acid to melt one Stahis hands and foot, Seth than reveals his intention of using his telepods to fuse himself, Veronica, and their unborn child together into some kind of freakish monstrosity during which Seth transformation is complete. However Stathis is able to use his shotgun to severe the link between Veronica and Seth pods so that Seth fuses with with the pod instead and of course since he no longer has just a psychotic killer fly in him but also a cold emotionless machine he begs Veronica to kill which she does ending our movie.
Now since I never saw the original I have no idea how well a remake this movie but on it's own it's great. The pacing, the atmosphere, the special effects on Seth transformation are all top notch and while there is some padding it doesn't feel completely unnecessary. The only real gripe I do have is I feel that Seth and Veronica's romance should had been longer before his trip into the pod because it's only like three or four days it just doesn't feel that tragic like say if they have together for at least a year, but hey maybe that's just me, also I feel there should have been a better way to introduce Stathis instead of making him some jealous ex lover but despite these character flaws the movie is still a must see. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

10th Night of Horrors(sorta) Predators
So tonight I'll look at the second squeal to original Predator which is considered a classic, thought I have to admit I prefer Predator 2. Why I don't know I just rather watch the second movie instead of the first which I'm sure puts me in the minatory. Now I know this technicality isn't a horror film buuut this is my blog so I don't care hahaha, no that's rude of me to be honest I started watching it without realizing it wasn't counted as a horror, my bad. So since this wasn't really a horror movie I won't go into much detail.
Our movie follows a group armed killers who are placed on an alien world to be hunt by Predators, I guess the Predators became pussy between films if they can't hunt something on it's home planet so they needed an advantage. The first half of this movie is actually very tense and feels smart its after the character of Noland arrives that things start to get boring and predictable. Also speaking of Noland can he be considered a magical black man because he arrives out of nowhere gets some exposition and then he returns to heaven...okay he's blown up by a Predator same thing. We also learn the doctor whose in the group is actually a murderer working for the Predator, because hunters obviously need a spy. Plus despite this movie being called Predators there's less Predators in this film than in the ending of Predator 2.
All in all good start buts apart half way through but there's still some enjoyment here. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

9th Night of Horrors Child's Play
Well tonight I look at another horror movie that's has an interesting idea and just decides to give up on a good idea for something stupid or cliche. I mean how many horror movies did that? and to save you the trouble of actually counting the number it's probably a seven figure number, though I'm just guessing. Anywho it's Child's Play lets begin.
Our movie begins with our killer Chucky still as human played by Brad"why doesn't he have an acting award"Dourif being chased by the police where he is shot and tries to hide in a toy store. However this doesn't work and he using Voodoo magic to place his soul inside a doll know as a Good Guy. With the scene the entire twist is ruined within five minutes. Also while inside the store we see an accessory for a Good Guy which looks like a sub-machine gun
I could be wrong but look at it, it even looks like a clip on the box. After this scene we see a Good Guy cartoon or commercial it's not clear but what episode has the Good Guy going on a rampage with a gun?
Anyway back to the plot. We're that introduced to two of our main characters Karen and her son Andy whose obsessed with Good Guys and wants a Good Guy doll more than anything, until his next birthday when he'll want a Sega Genesis. Karen later buys a Good Guy from a peddler on the street and surprises her son with it. Later that night Karen has to work at late so she has her best friend Maggie watch Andy but she is later killed by the Good Guy doll aka Chucky because she wouldn't let him watch the news, the bitch!! Soon afterwards the police suspect Andy and there suspension grow after Andy and Chucky head's to the hideout of Chucky's accomplice Eddie(who abandoned him at the start of the film) to kill him for being a pansy. Now believing to be crazed killer they send Andy to an insane asylum after he keeps blaming Chucky, clearly they never saw the first five minutes.
Later Karen learns that Chucky really is a living doll, oh my god I never saw that coming. Karen tries to tell the detective who was pursuing Chucky in the toy store, named Mike about the little walking talking doll but he of course doesn't believe her and she leaves to find out where the doll came from. Karen finds the peddler who tries to rape her because that's what we needed but she's save by Mike and the two learn the peddler got Chucky from the toy store. Karen leaves to find Chucky however Mike still doesn't believe her but changes his mind after the little killer tries to kill him.Mike and Karen both set off to find a Voodoo persist who taught Chucky how to transfer souls, Chicky also goes to see the guy when he starts taking damage like a real person and is told he as to transfer his soul into Andy's body because he was the first person he told, he than kills the persist. Chucky then heads to the asylum where Andy is but Andy gets away when Chucky decides to kill a random guy first.
Eventually everyone arrives back at Karen's apartment where Chucky attempts his liitle soul transfer but is stop by Karen who than traps Chucky in the fireplace where is burn to death. Or not as it seems that since he's more human he survive being burned alive and he continues to attack. After another attack Chucky gets his left arm, right arm and head shot off and he still keeps coming because like all humans we can survive with our head shot off. In the end Chucky is shot in the heart which kills him and everything was right again, except for the four dead bodies.
This movie it's hard to say if it's good or not. While we do have some good creepy scenes in the first, the acting is good, and the effects on Chucky are really good.Plus I think the movie have work had they made Andy the killer along because there are moments where it does fell like that. On the other hand the story is stupid, the creepy mood is remove in the second half and the kills don't really make any sense. All in all I'm flip flop on this film however I'll still say it's worth a watch. This is WinterDeathPeace saying peace out.

8th Night of Horror Mimic
This time for my horror month I watch Mimic directed by Guillermo del Toro about giant killer bugs which I found very boring. Well lets begin.
Our movies starts off in Manhattan were a virus called Strickler's Disease(which is spread by cockroaches) is killing many children so our main character an entomologist named Susan ends the threat by creating a new breed of insect(because I guess you can just do that) to wipe out the cockroaches. And everything was fine, until three years later when the plot begins. It's revealed that the new breed of insect called the Judas Breed was designed to die out after one generation but of course they said "screw that we're going to grow human size". Eventually it's discovered that the insects are in the sewers and after a few dead bodies their hive is destroyed as well their only fertile male. And they all lived happily ever after as well as Susan husband Peter who somehow survived blowing up the hive in fact I bet the explosion made him feel better.
One reason I didn't like this movie is actually the movie's own fault, because the title refers to the main type of giant insects who can take human form thus blend in with humans. Near the end of the film Susan describes how the Mimics(as their dubbed) could enter our society and create a colony within us to wipe us out, and frankly I think that would have made a more interesting climax than a hand full of people wandering around a sewer system. Or maybe they could have something like The Thing which would have been amazing.
In the end I see Mimic as a boring padded creature film that although as some tense moments really falls flat in the horror department. I say skip it. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

7th Night of Horrors Carnosaur
Alright now`s it time for the first horror that scared me as a kid, I think I was six when I saw this but I`m not sure, anywho it`s Carnosaur. Carnosaur is loosely based off of a novel by author John Brosan written in 1983 about a lord who brings dinosaurs back to life specifically carnosaur(dinosaur who are carnivores) so he can start World War 3....yeah the movie on the other hand....well we have women laying dinosaur eggs only more ridiculous than you`re thinking. Lets begin.
Carnosaur is about a mad scientist named Dr. Tiptree who is trying to bring dinosaur back to life so they can take back what is rightful theirs, she brings back them using the D.N.A. of several types of birds and reptiles, so much more effective than frogs. Than there`s the plan she has to spread the carnosaur(yes because her new world only needs meat eaters) she created a virus that well give men the flu but for women they die laying the eggs, oh I`m sorry they die pushing the eggs out of their pussies...let that sink in for a moment. In case you`re wondering we see this twice not counting Tiptree who has one come out of her stomach like a c-section and a chicken who explodes.
Our main character is a security guard named Doc who really has nothing to do with the plot he kinda just goes with the flow. This prove his unimportance he doesn`t kill ``the`` Carnosaur, he kills a Tyrannosaur who did nothing wrong, and he dies pointless in the end. Then there`s our other main character Thrush(yes that`s her name) who is even more pointless, also just like all bad horror movies they have spontaneous romance that goes nowhere. Our true star is the titular Carnosaur who after being born from a chicken goes on murderous rampage. Really these are the most enjoyable parts of the film because of how over the top the violence for example when the Carnosaur attacks a three young people it attacks the first but biting off his dick and in seconds his body is covered in blood(which is mostly gone when he crawls away)and the couple of the three is attack by the Carnosaur in their jeep and within one second of attacking them the inside of the jeep is covered in blood. I should also note the Carnosaur is a Deinonychus which looks like this
in the movie it looks like this
...yeah so much alike, unless that`s what people thought Deinonychus look like in 1993. Also that man in the pic says the dumbest think you can say to a blood thirsty dinosaur, which is ``Greetings green brother`` and than the Carnosaur eats off his face. The Carnosaur is later killed by the sheriff with a shotgun but it kills the sheriff but shoving it`s foot up his ass. In the end the government(I think) tries to contain the virus by killing everyone one in town with one bullet each except Doc who gets a full clip, also there`s a pointless fight with a Tyrannosaur and something about an artificial womb which in no way affects the squeal which rips off Aliens, shameless too I might add.
So that`s Carnosaur a bad cheesy B-movie with bad acting and special effects, over the top gore, stupid plot, and a very creepy soundtrack and I love it. Yeah it`s bad and stupid which the author himself said(he also said it was interesting) but it is so enjoyable in it`s stupidity I can`t help but recommend it, I mean hell Gene Siskel gave it a thumbs up. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

6th Night of Horrors The Descent
Tonight I was going to watch a horror I never saw before but changed my mine after playing a little bit of Silent Hill Downpour. Why you may ask, really it just because I felt that The Descent sets a great mood for a subtle horror film and than just throws it out the window for something that may have work in another film but just ends up cheapening itself`s. But a little more on that in a bit.
The Descent starts off with one of the main characters Sarah being involved in a gruesome car accident that claims their lives, a year later she and the five other main characters(technicality the only characters) go spelunking in the US. It is later reveled that the cave they go to is uncharted which was intentionally done by the character Juno and it soon is reveled that cave is home to monstrous cannibals dubbed crawlers. The crawlers kill three of the characters Holly,Sam,and Rebecca while another character Beth is accidentally fatally wounded by Juno and later mercy killed by Sarah who later wounds and leaves Juno to be killed by crawlers after learning what she did to Beth(as well as realizing she had an affair with her dead husband) because that`s the normal thing to do. Sarah later escapes where we learn she hallucinated the ending and is still in the cave with the crawlers descending upon her.
My biggest problem with this film are the crawlers I fell they were completely pointless because the movie has some great tense moments involving spelunking which I though we`re great and had wish the whole movie was just that. This is what I meant by subtle horror, several people seem to think horror is slashers, monsters, jump scares, and blood(for some reason) and seem to forget horror can come just from atmosphere which was another I loved about Cube. Now something like Silent Hill can do both but they use sounds and sights to create tension which sometimes involve the monster while The Descent is more about feelings, at least that`s how I felt maybe I`m in the minatory. Anyway decent film with great tension and some good scares but I felt the monsters were unnecessary, this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

5th Night of Horrors Cube
Tonight I chose to watch a personal favorite of mine the Canadian cult film Cube. Sadly enough I never heard of this movie until after I`d seen the squeal Cube 2: Hypercube which I fell is on of the worst squeals ever, I mean really what was up with that film.
Anywho Cube is about a group of six(technically seven but the seventh one dies within the first five minutes without ever meeting the rest) people named Quentin,Worth,Holloway,Leaven,Rennes, and Kazan who find themselves trapped in gigantic cube with death traps, shifting rooms, and numbers for each room. After Rennes is killed by acid to the face the group learn that each room with a room with a trap has prime number, using this knowledge they make their way to the edge where Holloway tries to swing across a wall but a tremor from the shifting rooms causing her to fall but to be recuse by Quentin who later drops her to her death, likely due to early hostiles between the two. After realizing how bat-shit insane Quentin Worth is able drop him in cube while the last three make their way to the room which acts as a bridge to the outside.Unfortunately when they reach the bridge Quentin has caught up with them using plot convince where he kills Leaven and fatally wounds Worth and attempts to kill Kazan but is stop by Worth leading Quentin to be killed by the shifting room. In the end Worth dies as well and Kazan walks into a mysterious white light.
Really except for the special effect and some of the acting I can`t say anything bad about this movie. It has a great pace, atmosphere, it draws you in, and it`s smart. I also like to think there was something else to the cube instead of what vague explanation is used. Like maybe their all dead and the cube is limbo or something and they have to get to heaven, which would explain the bright white light at the end. Unfortunately the squeal and prequel kinda screw that idea but regardless this is a great movie that I recommend to everyone. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

4th Night of Horrors PumpkinHead
So I decided to break my short sci-fi horror trend and look at a little know horror film called Pumpkinhead. Funny story I first learned of Pumpkinhead when I was 10 or 9 something like that and the VHS cover actually scared me, thought looking back at that cover I don`t even think it`s the same monster as in the film,
The Pumpkinhead on the cover that scared my 9 year old self
How it appears near the end of the film
you be the judge.
Anywho Pumpkinhead is the simple story of a loving single father who wants revenge against a group of young people when one accidentally kill his son by having a witch raise a demon called Pumpkinhead. He soon regrets his actions after he starts to feel the pain Pumpkin inflicts on it`s victims and tries to stop it which leaves to his death and him becoming the new Pumpkinhead which in no way effects the squeal Pumpkinhead 2:Blood Wings, hell the Pumpkinhead is a totally different person in the squeal. Despite it`s simplicity I actually rather enjoy this film there some good buildup, the Pumpkinhead design is very good and one thing that I really appreciate is that all the characters aren`t all jackass like so many horror movies nowdays. Well to be fair the one who accidentally kills the boy is an asshole but he changes later, something you rarely see in horror films(at least the ones I`ve seen). So all in all a decent little horror movie that I think is worth checking out, this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

3rd Night of Horrors Event Horizon
Since I took a look at Alien and it's squeal I thought I keep going with this sci-fi horror theme and watch and review a personal favorite of mine Event Horizon. Released in 1997 and directed by Paul Anderson before he started doing horrible Resident Evil movies which actually now fit with what Capcom has started doing with the franchise, Event Horizon is about a search and rescue team in the year 2047 that is sent to a previously thought destroyed space craft know as the Event Horizon which was carrying a experimental device know as gravity drive that allows faster that light travel, that has mysteriously return after seven years.
When the team arrives they find the ship`s crew gone say for the dead captain. While onboard their own ship the Lewis and Clark is damaged and they must repair it, during this time some of them suffers hallucinations such as the creator of the gravity drive Dr. Weir(played by Sam Neill) seeing his dead wife who committed suicide. One of the crew members Justin also tries to kill himself after being pulled into the gravity drive`s portal, though it is never stated where the Event Horizon has been for the last seven years it is heavily imply that the portal took it and it`s crew to Hell, this is something I like simply because it doesn`t flat out say it`s Hell. During the rest of the film it`s clear that where ever the Event Horizon has been it brought something back with it which later kills another crew member Peters by luring her to a random pit because all space ships need random pits that are deep enough to kill you if you fall. Weir also starts to crazy even ripping out his eyes, because dead wife, and plans to send the Event Horizon back to where it was the last seven years, and to insure the others can`t escape he blows up the Lewis and Clark killing the pilot Smith in the process. After blowing up the Lewis and Clark Weir kills another crew member T.J. but cutting out his guts and hanging him similar to how the killer in the Cell pleasured himself. Weir is later suck out into space but after a confrontation with the rest of the crew on bridge. Afterwards the captain Miller( played by Laurence Fishburne) tries to separate the two half of the Event Horizon but is attack by Weir who is now naked, covered in scars, and has his eyes back because Hell. In the end Miller succeeds in separating the ship but is left behind when portal opens. And in the end the survivors are rescued but it is imply that there still being effected by the presence in the ship.
Another reason why I wanted to talk about Event Horizon is because I see this movie as an underrated gem that has become a cult classic and I really don`t see why this movie is more well know. It has a good atmosphere, interesting plot, and is creepy, granted I think the movie would be better if the deleted footage(which Anderson regrets cutting) was in the film but this are things that can`t be help. Also though not wildly know this movie is an obvious inspiration for Dead Space, with the atmosphere and the imply Hell involvement, of course in Dead Space it was zombies but details.

2nd Night of Horrors- Aliens
Now I know Aliens isn't a true horror movie like Alien buuut it is the squeal and I do have both on Blu-ray so why the Hell not.
Like Alien Aliens is another classic film this time directed by James Cameron and falling more into the action movie genre. Aliens takes place 57 years after the first with Riply(the main character from the first movie duh) who was in stasis since the ending to Alien, some time later Riply joins a group of marines who are sent to the planet from the first film after contact is lost with the colony there, and of course like the title says there's more than one alien this time around.
Like Alien there really isn't much I can say that hasn't been said before so once again I just what I like or not. First I like the suspense the movie gives, though it isn't as effective as it was in Alien. Also the beginning of the first movie is emulated when we're introduced to the marines, though it seems a little pointless seeing as how only about ten minutes is spent on the marines' ship. Like how Ash was evil in the first movie they repeat this with the character Burke except this time it explains how the aliens are on the colony instead of just being pointless.
Tonight I plan on watching something that isn't a classic so I can go in more detail with the plot and anything else worth mentioning. This is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.

1st Night of Horrors-Alien
Last year I started my horror movie month with Night of the Demon(1980), you know the movie about the killer Bigfoot where the only redeeming aspect is the kills, really I should have watch that and reviewed for my first other Alien simply because there would've been more to talk about. but oh well.
Alien the classic Ridley Scott science fiction horror about an alien that starts killing the crew of a mining ship after it gets inside the body of one of the crew members and burst out of his chest. There isn't much I can say but about this film that hasn't been before but I still say a couple things I liked about it. First I loved the mood the movie sets right at the begging of the movie with the shots of the empty ship it gives a great feeling of being alone, in fact the mood and tension this movie delivers feels like a Silent Hill game. I also like how this is one the films where the characters don't act like idiots(I probably be seeing later the month) unless you count the two scenes of looking for the cat.
The one thing I felt was unneeded was the scene where it is revealed that the character Ash is a robot where it is explain the company knew about the alien race to began with, just feels rather pointless to the main plot.
Well that's my first review for the month sorry it wasn't up last night something came up, and of course the next movie movie I'll watch and review will be Aliens but no Aliens3 or Alien Resurrection simply because I don't own those two and I don't think their on Netflix. Any who this is WinterDeathPeach saying peace out.
